fishing competitions and Rugby Sevens to our stunning Christmas Lights. Lots to see and do.

Earlston Community Day 2018, Sunday 9th September, Earlston Rugby Club, 12-4pm
Another fun packed afternoon with lots of activities to try out, community groups to meet,
food and drink to consume and live music to listen to. This year our theme will be around the Year of the Young
People and there will be a fancy dress competition for the young people to come as a famous young person from
through the ages.
We will have some new attractions this year, along with Cycle Speedway, the Community Day raffle, community
group stands and some pretty special visitors.
Watch out for posters and announcements nearer the time.

Family Fun Day & Fun Dog Show 2018
Our Family Fun Day & Fun Dog Show is back for 2018!

More to follow as we get them arranged...
Over 60s meet every other Wednesday in the Church Hall 2-4pm. Afternoon tea/coffee with
sandwiches and scones. Interesting talks from guest speakers and lots more. Trips out and about with Summer and
Christmas meals too. All welcome. Come and have fun with friendly folk.
Pilates in the Church Hall from 6-7pm every Monday evening followed by the Over 70s Fitness
Club "Use it or Lose it" 7-8pm.
Meets every Thursday at 10am at the Rhymers Cafe for interesting walks locally and sometimes
further afield. Usually followed by coffee, scones and a chat in the cafe.
Who's Got Rhythm?
Is there anyone in the village or around about, who has/plays, drums, cajon, djembi and/or
bodhran? If so, would you be interested in playing in Earlston Parish Church from time to time? This would be
for occasional praise services, and special occasions.
